Expired Love

I don’t know but she was so beautiful in my eyes. Her lips were glowing and her smile makes my heart bouncing all the time. Is it love at first sight? I really don’t know. So let’s uncover the truth if this love at first sight would really expire.

It was late December of year 2009; I was a cashier in one of huge flower companies in the Philippines, the King Louis Flowers and Plants Inc. During this month, its seasonal product is Poinsettia. And it’s expected  that people from various fields such as professionals, retailers and businessmen, anchors like Korina Sanchez and Botch Francisco, politicians like Senator Manny Villar, churches, families and even individuals will rush to my place just to buy such product for Christmas Celebration. In short, each day I had been facing different types of people with different personalities and gender. But one day, a gorgeous lady caught my attention in an instant. And who’s that lady? Look at the photo and try to find out who’s wearing the beaming smile. Is she looks appealing? Well, we have a different taste. And she was the one I love.

She was perfectly stranger to me not until later when I realize that she was a purchaser in one of our valued customers. Every time she visit, my associates greet her positively and treat her so special. I was confused to myself. Why I am speechless? I suspect that this is love. Sounds corny but that’s how I felt it.

One afternoon, I receive a call. A sound of a lady looking for her Mama. I asked, “Whose Mama is that?” She answered, “Si Mama Tata ba?” At last I’ve figured it out, she was looking for my co-worker who’s the cashier before me. I told her that she was not around, then suddenly she asked something about me, “Are you Michael?” I answered, “Yes!” That’s the time we had known each other.  From then on we’ve been calling all the time. I was develop to her, there’s no day and nights that I haven’t called her. And when I got involved to a highway accident, she was the first person I called up. She was shocked, sensing that she really cares for me. The rest is history.

All of the sudden, After a month of sweet memories. We had lost contact. I tried to text her, to call her everyday but she didn’t  even bother to answer. Honestly, I couldn’t force myself to someone who don’t appreciate what I am doing. I couldn’t because it’s so hurting. I hate to say but her love to me was already expired.

A Pair of Shoe that Lasts

When we talk about experiences, my pair of shoe has  lot of stories to tell.

It may not be of good quality as Rusty Lopez brand but it could walk through mud and flood. Because in my daily life as a student I was able to witness my pair of shoe submerged into the huge body of water which made by heavy rains.

It may not be expensive as a luxury shoe that cost a thousands of Peso or more, but I truly care of it. In fact, every time it gets dirty I cleaned it with wet paper or cloth. After awhile, it looks black and instant brand-new for the second time around.

It may not be a human being but I treat it as my best friend. Every time it gets scratched I could barely feel the pain. Sometimes, it has been hammered by rocks and stones, though it’s only a stuff, I could sense the difficulties it surpassed.

I still remember the day I bought this pair of shoe, because of limited budget I tried to search for alternative. So I stumble in a shoe store at the public market selling China-Made.

Now, if you see the picture of the pair of shoe you would surely react what a storm it has been gone through. This particular pair of shoe has rendered service for almost four years, sliced and outworn. At the beginning, I heard some statements that it wont last, however, it proves them wrong. And proudly to say, it shared a gigantic impact to my little success, because I couldn’t simply go to school or in any special occasion without it.

Tutoring Kid Is Quite Challenging

Almost five months now since I began tutoring to a little girl named Diamond Grace A. Rico. Guys, would you believe that she’s already Grade-I at the age of five? It’s quite early yet she got the potential. Actually, it wasn’t in my plan to teach kid its just happen that I was already tutoring to a high school student who’s the only daughter of my good college mentor, and my lady colleague in the library referred me to the mother of the little girl who’s our supervisor then. So in the month of May I am tutoring to a two.

The little girl in the left side of the photo is the one that I am talking about. She’s so cute, ambitious, smart, and a lot of story to tell in her very young age. In fact, there was no days that she never told me a story. She wants to become a doctor someday as she wanted to help the sick people. And the man in the right side is I, a business graduate, smart and also ambitious. But suddenly turned into teaching because of natures calling. Honestly, teaching is one of my personal interests aside from working in the office, blogging, and designing. And I found it very challenging.

Yes, it is challenging because it certainly tested my patience and temper especially if she’s not in the mood. I have to find effective ways to motivate her to cooperate. Sometimes, I do consider the use of fake tricks just to make her active in our discussion like calling her mother in the cell phone and reporting that she’s not doing her task, but the truth is I am just playing some fake drama to make her believe. Also, I follow whatever she wants to do first but in a condition that after it we will do the homework or whatever necessary and important for her studies. In some way, it do effect that accomplishes everything. Singing children songs, coloring shapes and figures, reading stories that she likes, counting, name it all. These are just few of the vast method that I applied every time she lost her interest in studying. But there are times that she doesn’t really like to cooperate well despite of your enthusiastic approach to her. However, I do understand because when I was a little kid just like her I really hate studying all the time but later on I find it significant.

How come I stayed long in this kind of extra job knowingly that it’s very exhausting, difficult, and sometimes humiliating. It’s not about the money; it’s all about your interest by heart. No matter how hard it is, even you walk kilometers back-and-forth everyday or exposing ones self to risk still you want to pursue it most especially when you saw the result of your endeavor and sacrifices. I still remember what my supervisor told me, “Teach her gradually and little by little she will learn.”

Beware To Text Messaging Scam

Did you received this kind of text message? Well, I received it too. But only a stupid man could be victimize by this old style text messaging scam. And they pick a wrong number because I am not the potential one to be their next victim.

If there’s no government body that could help us from stopping this activity why not educate ourselves. Yes, education would be  the key to lessen their victims if not to eradicate them. The following will be very helpful:

YOU NEVER JOINED SUCH A PROMO. If you received such message don’t get excited. You need to ask your self if you ever joined any contest or submitted anything for a prize and if not that is surely a scam, therefore, never reply anymore. Because no one will offer such huge amount without an exchange.

IT USES A NORMAL ELEVEN DIGIT NUMBER.You have to aware that companies offering promos via text messaging never uses a normal eleven digit number like 09298451675, instead, a three or four or five special number like 25810 or 2856. So before texting or calling them try to check out the number first.

INAPPROPRIATE METHOD. If you truly wins they will make a call and ask for some verification. A text message is improper and unprofessional, and most of the time resulted to lack of claiming instructions. Notice the specimens above, does it look a winning information? For me, it’s a mess.

IT USES NAMES WITH GOOD TITLES.  The bad individuals behind this scam uses such names and titles to make believe their target. The truth, real promos or contest never uses it. If you think it’s real, I advise you to check the detail on the Internet and this might gave you some factual information about it, which help you to decide.

You see, education is a better way. The next time you receive a strange text messages like above just simply think the four keys above. If you want to help others to be aware of it share these to them and spread to everybody.

Take note, if you really want to know if the promo is real make a call never use a text message. One thing, if they ask something that will make you to spend begin to wonder because in reality they will never ask you to buy or give something. However, they usually require you some verification papers or documents.

Learn Your Lesson

Exactly 10:15 a.m., break time, students were jam-packed at the canteen when suddenly someone pushes me hard at the back that really drives me down the stairs, and people were staring at me. I thought it was just an accident but when I turned my head to the place from where I fell down I saw my angry teacher and her face was totally unprintable. Then I begin to wonder.

Honestly, I was alarm right at the moment that I saw her knowing the fact that she was a terror in the campus, and I couldn’t believe what she did to me. Not realizing what was really happening, she certainly reminds the real cause of her agitation. And it’s because of the important document that supposedly was already submitted. But I failed to accomplish the task as she trusted me so much, and I even left it in the house that’s why the pushing scenario at the canteen was happened. I felt so sorry and even apologizing her in front of the public for what mistake I have done but it has no effect. Instead she warned me that I will going to  fail and not to graduate this school year, and she walked away.

Thus, I feel worried and don’t know what to do. So I go back to my classroom and there to think deeply but amazingly my friends and classmates were so much concerned and even shared to me some advises on what to do. Finally I have decided to say sorry again and again until she would forgive me. Then I go on my own in the faculty room and started saying “sorry, I will never do it again” a couple of times or more and even knelled in front of her encircled with the other faculty members just for forgiveness. And she told me to get up but she was not pleased, instead, she ordered me to write down a statement of sorry in a hundred pieces of intermediate paper, back-to-back, within an hour, and no spaces to leave blank.

I didn’t waste any time.  I have to find ways in order to finish it right at the designated time or else worst. And I never failed because my friends are willing to help me in writing so I gave them some pieces of papers and do the same thing as I did. Surprisingly, the others who are my classmates but not my close friends also took some papers from me, as they wanted to help. I was so overwhelmed because I couldn’t really imagine that most of them truly cares for me as their Vice-President of the class. As the time was running out it lessen my chances to win back the trust and the opportunity to graduate. But I never lost hope until we’re done, a couple of minutes before the cutoff time.

Then I collected all the papers, and thanking everyone. I had only a few seconds left so I run very fast directly to the faculty room knocking three times on the door before I enter inside. I was losing my breath as I gave it to her. Fortunately, she accepted it with a smile in her face and calmly said “Michael, learn your lesson.” From then on, I am always very careful in all of my deeds.

I Love You: A Question or Not

“Why do the words I LOVE YOU need an answer though everybody knows that it’s not a question,” a lady friend asked. Upon hearing such wondrous statement suddenly I come up with questions to myself: Why is it? And how is that?

Naturally, if your partner say something like I Love You automatically you would answer I Love You Too without realizing the entire thought if it is a mere question that requires an instant reply or just simply nothing-a plain expression of the other party who’s intended for the sweet words of love. Or there’s something more of value than the latter.

Really, we can sense if a couple is pretty much serious with their relationship when they both treat the exchanging of I Love Yous’ as an assurance that they truly love each other, not because he or she is being ask or an expression as I have said awhile ago. Because whoever decided to enter the realm of love be sure that you’re not really stepping on a blazzing flame that would burn you out, a regret that always happen at the end.

Vividly, I Love You is not a question nor an expression but, instead, imense words that must have been said that you truly cares reciprocally and eventually to spend the rest of ones lives under each others arms no matter what happen. And it’s really awesome to love and be loved.

Now, if you have fiance or girl friend and boyfriend, wife or husband, bestfriend or close friend, etc., that you frequently told I Love You, and certainly received an answer try to analyze before you answer this question. Is I Love You a question or not?

Friendship or Love

In friendship, many get develop, many get in love. At first they call themselves as Bro and Sis but eventually when it gets older and farther it turns to be a love relationship. A love that should be ignored? Or better be real to it? Oh, no! It’s so complicated.

One time, I had a colleague that later on became my best-friend. Ironically, we became best of friends because I used to court her however she busted me but we became close together and claim ourselves as buddies. Over days, weeks, and months that passed by, the usual friendship develops into more serious and concern relationship. But I couldn’t express my feelings to her though I knew what she feels.

Yes, you really love your friends but loving someone intimately is another thing. It would mean commitment and responsibility to its results. And friendship may be the excellent jump-start toward a good and deeper relationship in the future. But how about when she or he only sees you as a friend not a lover.

In the end, it’s you who decide if you want him or her to be lifetime partner or to be the best of friends. For me it’s just a matter of time and patience. Who would not get develop to someone who’s very caring and loving friend? Who would no get in love to someone that hugs and kisses you all the time?

The Roller Coaster of Life

Life is definitely like a roller coaster, it waves up and waves down, it stops and go. But when it would retire reamin a big question for everybody. And it’s so hard to ignore that once for awhile we’re experiencing gigantic turmoil in our lives.

Remininscing the past, our folks underwent various hardships and obstacles in life but still they keep on going because certainly they believe that later everything would be fine. They even fought in a blooded battle with nothing, no food and water, no shelter and ultimately no help at all. There were casualties while others dead. But after the catastrophy that stroke they survived.

In current generation, there were rich and there were poor but the former obviously outnumbered by the latter, and maybe this is what we called walk of life. We couldn’t simply deny the huge difference of the two yet both is walking for success and longing to overcome the variety of problems that sometimes hitted in ones life. Its just happened that this is me and that is you. And whatever the results of your undertakings whether good or bad be responsible and never blame anybody because in the first place you’re driving your own, it’s up to you if you will ruine it well or improve it  more for the betterment of your future.

Sometimes we failed ro realize the peculiarity of every person which suddenly fall into unfavorable judgments of others. Why not attempt walking is a busy street, and there you will see the disparity of everybody, their attitudes and habits, their distinct physical attributes, and their way of living.

And when the famous roller coaster halts for awhile to call for additional passengers to fill the vacant seats why don’t you try riding to feel the shaky moments and enjoyment of life.

The Reality of Love

Do you think men are pretty much attracted to sexy, beautiful, and appealing presence of women? Or I should say the soundness of their attitudes and unique personalities? Whatever. But there’s one thing very sure in this world, man is meant for a woman vice versa, however, no one truly knows who would be that compatible partner of the other. Because as we noticed nowadays there were countless scenarios in which many people get surprise as the ugly and the pretty became a pair of lifetime or the handicap and the blind absolutely hooked with each other. Its so amazing, right? And I would never surprise anymore why TV personalities like the comedy king and the Philippine diva seemed to be a strong couple despite of age disparity. It really show that age doesn’t matter, when two love meet together they would unite as husband and wife sanctified as one.

I still remember the first time I attracted to a woman and that was seven years ago when I just turned out to be a teenager. Oh, I love her so much because she’s so cute and soft-spoken. And there was one time she even invited in a party, we dance, eat, and talk a lot but when I told her the sweet words of I love you suddenly she changed the topic sensing that she don’t like me, maybe because I am less fortunate and she’s bountiful. Well, that was a huge difference but I had a clean intention.

The reasons of getting in love were varied, thus confusing anybody to identify who’s really sincere of their deeds. I believe everybody is familiar by the saying, yet true, that nothing is perfect in this world only God. If you failed a couple of times or more don’t worry anyway; worry about your self if gave everything to your partner. Because latter on you might get crazy if you saw them unexpectedly making love. You need to safe keep something about your self so that when that time happens you will not look like a hopeless man or woman dumped in nowhere.

The second time I felt in love was back five years when I was already in the last quarter of my last year in high school-senior standing-and she was just a sheer freshman. In fact, I was not the one who opened up, instead she was. But for frequent of talking and sharing thoughts about one’s life we developed in which ended in serious courtship but over months our love never materialize because of long distance relationship.

Look, true love happens at the right time and place, and the right decision. How much devastating your love stories ended up, it simply shows that real love is not easy to get and should undergo a rational process. These may sound ridiculous but you have to understand that this is the real realm of love. Whoever attempts to counter flow over this reality will surely fall and suffer its consequences. Try to think of it.
